MFD Responds to Serious Crash on LIE
The Melville Fire Department urges all motorists to drive safely and responsibly this Memorial Day weekend.
Melville Fire and Rescue volunteers responded to this serious motor vehicle accident on the Long Island Expressway on Tuesday, May 21.
The driver suffered serious injuries and was transported to Nassau University Medical Center by Melville FD ambulance.
Under the command of Chiefs David Kaplan and Bill Schmitt, two ambulances, an engine, heavy rescue truck, paramedic unit, and fire police were dispatched with 25 fire/rescue personnel.
