The Firemans Association of the State of New York (FASNY) announced that Assistant Chief Jason Bernfeld is the 2018 Firefighter of the Year Award recipient.

The officers and members of the Melville Fire Department are extremely proud of this accomplishment.  Jason is well deserving of this recognition and award.
